[glow=green,2,300]Chapter 1 When Beginning's End [/glow]Even as Will dreamed, the only thing that filled his mind was that of peace and solitude. Being able to make a great piece of art, learning new things and trying new and exciting ideas was a mindset that even Will never wanted to let go... But dreaming was the ONLY place that he could do it in. Every day, he would wake up, sit on the edge of his bed and wonder, "When will peace dawn a new lifestyle?" If ever there was a thing that Will didn't particularly care for, it was fighting, destruction, and above all, pointless death. His father, Lance Lucion, was the exact opposite of the thing that he liked. He was not an artsy man, he didn't care for peace, and he certainly didn't want anything to do with change. But, if there were ever a man to truly respect the ways of fairly judging a guilty person, then Lance was the one for it in Will's eyes. Though Will didn't like fighting or conflict, his father was always one to teach others to take up arms in order to defend one's self at a moments notice. Will, though against the idea at first, eventually warmed up to the fact of learning how to fight in order to defend one's self, only at the expense that he was convinced by his father that it, in a form, was art. It didn't take long for Lance, or the rest of the little village that he lived in to see his talent with a weapon, nor did it take Will long to realize that if he didn't swing at another living thing, he felt right, almost calm, holding a sword in his hand, almost as if it were his one true talent. Lance would always tell Will: "One day, you'll grow up and take the responsibility of taking over my duty as a true and righteous judge and defend the innocent from the evils of the world to come." Even though Will did like the fact of everyone had faith in him to become a great fighter and defender, he didn't want the responsibility of having to hold another person's life in his hands. He was convinced that somewhere out there was the key to true peace, and he wanted to find it, no matter the cost. His father was one to quickly assess any situation, whether the task be big or small, and he put his son's very useful talent to the test. He immediately took him to see the nearest guild for warriors and show them his son's unique skill with weapons. And as he felt his son's rise to fame start to take off, Will felt only used by his fathers intent to ride on the coattails of his own son. It didn't take long however for the elder knight to realize that if his sons fame grew any higher, he might not be able to continue on with following his son into his adulthood, and flourish off of "HIS" creation. Will sometimes wished that his mother would try to calm his father down, but unfortunately, Juno was too quiet of a soul to take on a task that required any backbone. She loved Will very much, but she couldn't bear to tell her husband that he was doing wrong, for she knew better than anyone just how far he'd fall if he realized that he was only using his son. Letting her husband down was something that she didn't have the heart to do, and even though she could see that Will was getting weary of it, she couldn't see where the great ended, and the tragedy began. One day, only a month after his 20th birthday, a strange old man which seemed of great wisdom approached Will and his father. Will could immediately tell how this man was one who knew about battle and could easily be greater than any warrior, even him and his father, he had ever seen. His father on the other hand only smelled more fame though, and had been long dead by the power of greed. "You have something that the world needs... and we, the Seven Sword Lords of Legendara, would like you to share that with us." The old man spoke firmly yet truly to Will, and before his father had the chance to ask about the benefits, Will accepted. Without hesitation, Will was told that in order to better himself and share his gift to the world, he would have leave home, the small little village of nowhere, and leave behind the one's that he loved in order to help protect them and the rest of the lands, from any and all threats. His father, unable to clench the idea of having no more fame, had finally started to fall from his sons cloud of fame, and free-fall back to the cold, harsh reality, with near nobody to help him land but his wife.

[glow=orange,2,300]Chapter 2 Undergoing Change [/glow]Only a week after ending up in the hands of some of the greatest fighters of his realm, he started to realize that his body was in the right place, but his mind was lacking from his fathers iron grip. Eager to learn, and with the help of the others, he quickly started to hone his mind to become a more deadly weapon than any sword he could hold. Even though he felt weaker than most of the other Lords, he was determined to become their prime jewel and allow them to shape him into the piece of art that he wished that he could become. He was very interested on how each of them had joined and after only a few story sessions with the sage, he managed to learn about his new allies and friends. Number 1, AKA Lion, was an orphan that had only wished to survive the harshness of this world. The Sage had taken over as his guardian and parent and trained him to fight for the right cause and grow up to become a respectful man. What the sage hadn't realized was that he had found one of the very best fighters' and son that he would ever come to know. He was the true definition of a noble, honorable, and courageous man. Will looked up to him the most. The Number 2 AKA Crocodile, was a very anti-person person. The most that Will ever got from him was a scowl that would make him feel unwanted. The Sage had told him, that Croc, as they called him, only joined because he wanted nothing more than to prove that he was a better challenge than any knight that had ever been born. Even the Sage admitted that he didn't think that he was cut out for this at first, but eventually he proved that he would follow orders and never strike at those who were innocent. Number 3 AKA Fox, was the one that had caught Will's interest the most. She was a kind and gentle soul that didn't look like she would ever harm another human, even if they were bad natured. She had been a rapier wielder in a tournament for sporting swordsmanship when she had become close to defeating the Number 1 after he had entered and defeated number 2. She was the only one of the 7 who had and talent in magic along with her swordsmanship. Number 4 was Bear, and probably the biggest man that Will had ever seen. His story was a simplistic, yet odd story. He had apparently been a bard since he was 17, and one day got attacked. After that he took to building his body by getting bigger and bigger instruments to carry with him on his travels. After he became 38, he was carrying around a Marble Lute that was about 7 feet tall and almost as round as him. After playing a song for the Sage once, he got attacked by a man trying to get his day's pay, only to get smashed by a giant instrument and tossed aside like a rag doll, after which the Sage told him that if he wished to hone his skills, that he should consider joining a peace keeping crusade. He was up for a new adventure, so he decided to tag along. Number 5 AKA Panther was almost a complete mystery. She had apparently just showed up one day to the Sages' door and challenged him to a dual. After showing her skill, he gladly accepted her as another one of his pupils. Even though we all know she's a girl, it's sometimes hard to tell with the fact that she usually wore a metal plated vest that made her look built and almost like a man, since it covered up to her chin and showed no curves of her body. Number 6 AKA Eagle, was another one that had an almost naturist tale. He had dreamed of flying across lands and show everyone that he met that flying was a possibility.Being an inventor, he tried anything and everything that popped up into his mind in order to achieve his dream. After several attempts, many broken bones, and a stripped pride, he decided that it was a waste of time and started to give up. As he layed back on the grass and watched the sky, the only thing he saw, and could think about, was an eagle, soaring high, and proud. He decided that if he couldn't do it, that maybe he should find someone else who could help him in his quest to learn about how to make an object that could make flight possible. He started out on a journey in order to find what he was looking for with nothing more than him, his book of plans, and the walking stick that he had carved out of his last creation. After years of searching and playing around with his walking stick, he began to start growing a natural talent for using it combat in order to defend himself on his travels. After stopping at a town to rest, he met the Sage where they stayed at the tavern all night talking physics and how it could be possible to make a flying machine. After telling the Sage about his skill with a polarm, the Sage tested him and found him worthy enough to join them and in return decided to help him on his quest to learn how to fly. And of course, at the time, Number 7 AKA Wolf, or Will Lucion, was inserted into the ranks just as the rest had so many, or so few years before him, and even though he had knowledge on his new teammates, he was still oblivious about the soon to come future that was about to befall him, and create the destiny that would either make or break the one called the "1 Man Army".

[glow=purple,2,300]Chapter 3 Love's Embrace [/glow]After only a few months, Will had gained the skill that he needed both mentally and physically in order to work his way up the ranks. He was currently number 4 and close to being able to challenge Number 3 for her spot. Will had reached a dilemma however, and was starting to lose his grip on what he should do against her. In the time it took him to get stronger in both body and mind, he was starting to see that he was also becoming stronger in heart too. He wasn't sure yet, but he could swear that he was starting to fall in love with the one that called herself Fox. He had never felt such confliction before, as he wanted to show her that he was a capable person, both in battle and in compassion, but he didn't want to have to hurt her during the duel in order to secure his pride. She had been all for the fight, and was even cheering him on, but she almost seemed like she herself wasn't looking forward towards the duel. After a few days preparation, they were both in the midst of battle without a single lone thought of how to go about the duel. Will wasn't sure if he should try his hardest or forfeit, while she was fighting him almost as if she were making the mistakes on purpose in order to allow him a shot. Even though neither of them were too determined on the duel, they couldn't ignore the fact that if they kept this up, that they would eventually be called out on not trying. Fox was the first to make a move towards victory as she take a quick strike at his mask with her sword in an attempt to make him flinch. Knowing exactly what she was doing, he not only didn't flinch, but actually took a step forward in order to keep her blow from going through, allowing him the instant he needed to take a shot at her. He quickly took his sword and broadsided her in the ribs, hoping that it would slow her down. Even though he had hit directly in the ribs, and a decently strong shot at that, she had barely even moved, almost as if it hadn't touched her. He wasn't really sure if it was magic or if she has somehow braced for the attack, but he knew exactly how he could get around it. As she struck at him with a few swings towards his chest, he quickly rolled right under her swing as he double kicked her up into the air as hard as he could. Catching her off guard, the shot had been just enough for her to lift off of the ground and into the air. She was stunned by the fluidity of the attack and couldn't believe his cunning in that critical moment. Before she could guard for the next attack, he was already on his feet and grabbing her leg as he quickly turned and launched her across the arena floor towards the edge of the stage. Right before the edge of the stage, she dug her rapier into the ground to prevent herself from falling out of the ring. Will was amazed at how full of wits she was. He perception and quick reaction time was even better than his. She stood up and ripped the rapier out of the ground, looking at Will with almost a devilish grin as she started to chant something. He knew what this meant, even though the specifics of what she was about to do eluded him, he knew that she only used this type of attack fro ranged combat. He went to quickly dodge as she pointed her fingers at him, but as he dodged, the lightning that had shot from her fingers were instantly attracted to his sword as it made a loud crackle with he electricity coursing through it. In Pain, he instantly dropped it only to realize too late that she was already on her way over to attack him again. Before he could reach down for his weapon again, she jumped at him and did a flying leap kick right in his stomach. He felt the contact as he flew backwards and hit the ground right next to the edge, just barely within the lines. He could tell that he was in definite trouble now. Without a weapon, there was a good possibility that she would just try to get him to back off of the stage with magic, rather than risk it and try to strike him again. Just as she started to chant again, Will made a quick decision to make a last ditch effort. Before she could get the entire spell off, he ran up to her and without warning, head-butted her with his metal mask, confusing and stopping Fox from finishing her spell. Just as quickly as he could strike, he took the rapier from her hand, mid fall, and let her hit the ground as he held it at her throat letting her know that he had the upper hand. She stared up at him confused yet embarrassed as she slowly raised her hand in forfeit. Will quickly apologized to her as he helped her up off of the ground. Later that night, after no hard feelings were to be had on either side, they decided to talk to each other about how their lives were before this and get to know each other. Before the end of that night, they both had found a conviction to each other that they thought that they would never find in life. A true love was born between the two as they sat up watching the sunrise together, enjoying the warmth of each others company.

[glow=red,2,300]Chapter 4 Final Fall [/glow]After only 1 year, to the exact date, he had fought long and hard to earn his place as Number 2, he had a beautiful lover and all the Friends he could ever want. The only loose end in his perfect life right now, was the now Number 3, Crocodile. Every chance he got, he would Challenge Will for his title back, and every time he would try, he would be to enthralled with rage to win. Even the Sage could see that he was starting to digress into hating Will for being put in his shadow. Will never gave it another thought though. They had started to get more and more missions lately, if not for the fact that there were more bandits than ever, it was the fact just to see if anyone of them could take down the 7 Lords. Their name had spread far and wide in only one year, but they were starting to make an impression on the lands as the most vigilant of the peacekeeping guilds. Even with Croc acting angry towards Will, they still worked together on the missions, so nobody really took it seriously to heart that the term Crocodile had meant, at the bottom of the list "Betrayal". That night, exactly 1 year after Will had become one of the 7, Croc finally snapped and sneakily, yet masterfully devised a plan to get rid of him. Will, was too trusting and even though the sage was a wise, all-knowing person, even he couldn't deny what he could see with his own 2 eyes. He dreamed long and hard about having his original number back, getting his revenge on the one that stole and destroyed his pride, and most of all, showed affection for the woman that he wished he could be with. He had never showed her how much he loved her, but he couldn't stand the thought of letting him get away with loving her when he couldn't. After everyone had went to sleep, he started to hatch his grand Facade and let Will take the blame for all of it. He took no time at all to sneak into Will's room and find the mask and clothes that he wore. He was about the same height as Will, so everything he was planning should work out with no flaws at all. He left his room, quickly putting on the attire that would ultimately frame an innocent man for the crime he was about to commit. He, without a sound, snuck into the Sage's room, as undetected as he could, positioned a dagger over the Sage, and almost as if a mistake were common, "accidentally" stepped too hard backwards. Without any warning or show of consciousness, the Sage had already palm struck him, sending him backwards and rolled out of the bed, towards his enemy. He knew that if he fought against the Sage he would lose, after all, he was better than Number one, and even Croc knew his limits. As the Sage went to strike him again, he quickly rolled out the window and onto Will's balcony on the room right below the sage's. After the Sage looked down at him then quickly ran back inside to ring the alarm, Croc quickly undressed and set the clothes on the ground next to Will. Just as Croc Quickly exited the room through to the balcony next to Will's, the alarm sounded off, awakening the rest of the Lords, including Will. Will immediately got dressed and ran into the hall in a mad dash to see what was going on, only to meet the Sage waiting for him. Before Will could ask the problem, the Sage had already drew his cane sword and attacked Will. Barely able to dodge the brunt of the blow, he managed to just escape enough to keep it from killing him, even though it still broke his mask, leaving a giant crack in his mask, and a large cut across his face. Just as Will turned, confused and on guard, the sage answered his question before it ever left his mouth. "Wolf is a traitor and tried to kill me in my sleep, so attack him with all your force!" He had yelled as the rest looked on in shock. All of them except Croc who instantly took hold of the situation and struck Will in the back, leaving a large, yet minor cut. Will quickly ran back into his room and towards his window as he grabbed his sword and lept out towards the ground below his balcony. Battle after battle, Will started to slowly wear out, without a reason to acknowledge what was going on or why they wouldn't let him explain himself. After almost three days of running and fighting on and off, they finally came to the plains that were only a few hours aways from his hometown. He knew he was close to home, but he couldn't go on any longer, and knew that if there was ever a time to stop and make a final stand, it was now, and here, in this foggy plain that gave him more cover than he could get anywhere else. Before the rest of them could show up, the one voice that he hadn't wanted to hear was the only one that found his ears. "Why... how could you have done anything like this?" He heard Fox say as he saw her walk closer with her weapon drawn and a single tear halfway down her face. I didn't do anything! Will said back, knowing that it would give away his position. "You lie... The Sage saw you with his own eyes... If your words aren't as pure as i thought our love was ... The why should you ever talk again?" She said as she started to chant, letting the tear roll all the way down her cheek. Before Will could recover from hearing the one thing that could shatter him more than any weapon ever could, she hit him hard with a lightning bolt, dead on in the mask. As Will felt a blinding pain, he started to remember the past, when he was younger, learning new things, and loving life. He turned his head only o notice the time when he joined with his new Friends and started on a quest that could have saved the lands from corruption. Before he could feel his body again, he saw the love of his life, looking down at him with his head in her lap, and loving him with just the look in her eyes, and then the last thing he saw was her tear fall onto the single blade of grass that had been dyed red with his blood. When he woke up dazed, confused, and in blinding pain, he could only let tears drip down his face and let them roll off onto the ground next to him. After a quick look around, he realized that the tags of his former Friends were laying in his hand and that this was a completely different setting. After a few hours of getting back to his feet, he quickly made his way north in order to continue on the dream of land-wide peace that he couldn't achieve with his father, his Friends, or his only love.
