Raku was becoming more and more fustrated with every moment. She has been watching her bandits wreack havoc on the common folks of Mittelmarch. Even though it pleased her for a bit, she was growing bored again.
How long does it take a peasant to go find some worthy fighters for me to fight?
A woman was trying to escape one of the bandits. She was looking behind her as she ran. She didn't paid a bit of attention to what was in front of her. Raku stepped in front of her. The woman ran into and fell backwards. Raku waved off the bandit. She could see the fear in the woman's eyes. The woman started to cry.
"Shhh, no need to cry my dear. This will be over soon."
Raku smiled at the woman.
"I promise you that these bandits will not harm you."
Raku the pulled out a knife and slit the woman's throat with such speed that the woman didn't know what happen.
"I did not say anything about me though."
Raku gave an evil smile.

Ooc: Have fun, kill bandits!
“Telemachus…” The name bubbles like lava from Nichtmar’s mouth.
Telemachus once controlled Nichtmar and forced him to fight his friends. He still has nightmares of the Orc Wars and all the wasted life by his own hands.
Someone was yelling at him. He came to… the ringing of the guard bell could be heard.
“Stop them! Shut the gate. Lock them in. Kill ‘em, but leave a few for questioning!”
He looked to the elvin guard, "I can't tell you what to do, but your help would be appreciated."
One bandit charged Nichtmar. He easily caught his falling sword hand and shoved his sword into his gut and let the body fall past him. He saw a woman cut someone’s throat. He started running for her, but she was far down the street and several bandits were in his way. He started cutting into them.

It had been only a day since I had slew my brother but I knew that he somehow survived. I Found my way to Mittelmarch, too look for anyone who had knowledge of my brother or of lichs in general. The gate was sealed and I heard the cries of the innocent being slaughtered within. I jumped over the walls with ease and saw bandits raiding the city.
"Cowards! You will pay for spilling the blood of the innocent!" When they looked at me to brag their faces went pale upon seeing that my face was half tiger, as was my left arm.
I Attacked without mercy when I saw a female kill a woman for no reason at all.
My Tiger eye told me she was more then she seemed and that she had traces of Giggle's magic upon her.
I ran for her, taking out bandits along the way and I shouted, "Where is my brother Giggles you fiend!" My sword drew as I ran for her.

Raku stepped around the dead body of the woman. She saw the one with the tiger face charge at her. She drew her sword in time to block his.
"I do not know of this Giggles you speak. I am glad to fight you though."
She grined.
"I am always looking forward to fighting someone who is worthy of my talants."

"Holy groves of wolves!" Carey swore as he saw his traveling companions start to kill the other peasants of Mittlemarch. Traveling was tremulous but with a few gruff sword wielders he though he would be safe for a short trip to the city but he was quickly proven wrong...
This was not the place of safety and fair trade that he had first thought, Very glad he at least brought Fleck (his flint dagger) with him. Let the spirits of the land and mist curse his flock if he didn't stop the senseless killin'.
Stepping behind his new Shimg the bandit he had become on speakin' terms with. Holding Fleck to Shimg's back "W'otcha' at Shimg your mate's seem to be makin' a fuss a sorts, don't mind telling me what's about." Before bashing the back of Shimg's head, and tying him up. Taking Shimg's sword to protect who he could.
"Leave'um for the guard to find, no point askin' questions were you could get kill'd" Thought Carey to himself before going ageist his better judgment in to the frey.
Hoping to the lands that he wouldn't have to fight that lady in black.

Tsukasa was approaching the gate when two bandits came up to him. One swing at Tsukasa with his sword. The swing was wild and sloppy. Tsukasa was able to block it and then finish off the first bandit with a sword thrust through the throat. He turned and faced the second bandit. The second bandit looked at Tsukasa and a bit of fear crept over his body.
"Surrender now and you do not have to die."
The bandit laughed and start to attack. Tsukasa dodge the attack. He spun around the bandit and cut his hamstrings. The bandit feel in pain. Tsukasa stood over the bandit for a moment.
"Do you surrender now, or do you wish to die."
The bandit laughed as he ran his sword through his gut. Tsukasa turn to continue to the main gate and that is when he saw the battle between the female bandit and the one with the features of a tiger. Tsukasa continued on the way to them.

Elestirne nodded as Tsukasa left hurriedly. A faint smile played for the briefest of moments about her lips. She had seen by his eyes that her's and Olore's guesses had been right on the mark: Tsukasa did have something he wanted to ask. But he had done right in putting duty before curiousity. Now the question remained of what she should do.
Following the samurai out, the first thing Elestirne noticed was Nichtmar. She heard the word he spoke-growled-just as the guard bell started ringing and the bandits became visible. Authnor, Olore and her elves saw them in the same instant.
"My Queen!" Authnor adressed her in their own tongue on pure reflex, not meaning to cut anyone out. "What will we do? This is not our fight. And what will we do about Telemacchus? What did the fiend say to you?"
"We help Authnor,"Elestirne answered decisively, even though his questions about the sorcerer had given her pause. She turned to him and her escort. "Protect the villagers in whatever way you can. Kill the bandits if you have to and if any cross yours paths, but try to leave some alive. Something tells me we might want to question them."
They nodded, but Authnor voiced another question; this time remembering to speak in common. "What shall you do my Queen?"
"Fight beside you to help defend the city and its innocents of course. Worry not Authnor. It will take more than the likes of a bandit to mark me or Olore." Before he and the others could protest, she swung herself up on Olore bareback. "Go. Do as I told you. Meet back up at the inn when all is over." They saluted and bowed and ran off;most prudently disappearing down side streets to surprise the bandits later, or round up as many villagers as possible, Elestirne knew. She turned now to Nichtmar, and Authnor-who had stayed behind. Her words were meant mostly for the ogre though. "We shall talk on Telemacchus and what he has become later. He spoke words to me that may offer clues. For now though, the most important thing is seeing to the safetey of the city and its people. Come Authnor." With that, Olore wheeled and sprang off, Authnor following. The elven commander could not hope to keep pace with him though, and stopped to dispatch a few bandits that were a little too close. The one that made it past the elf was taken care of by Nichtmar.
Elestirne saw nothing of this though, as she and Olore twisted through the streets like water. In only moments, they had reached the gate, where a few bandits were still lingering. Olore pulled up short as Elestirne scanned the area for immediate threats. She saw Tsukasa, and two others-one with decidely tiger-like features-fighting the bandits, and a woman in black that seemed to be the center of things. As she had paused, watching, two of the bandits still at the gate rushed her and Olore. The silver stallion reared with a trumpet and Elestirne's swords sang free of their sheathes with a lightning flash;descending quicker than the eyes could follow as she kept her seat with perfect balance. When the scene resolved, Olore was on all fours, and the two bandits lay dead at his hooves;both from a single strike of an elven sword. Their blood pooled around them. The silver stallion and his elven rider turned their eyes back on the scene calmly;the eyes of both glittering, and both the stallion and swords seeming to glow with soft light.

"You know of who I speak! I can see the dark magic that he uses on you through my new eye!" As he mentioned this he noticed something else. While she looked human: he saw a giant form rising above her. It moved as she moved and it didn't appear to be threatening her. He didn't know what this meant as he had only acquired his powers only a day ago. 'What are you? Are you hiding something....?" With that comment Tigron lunged his sword forward to catch Raku in the gut.

Raku used her unholy speed to dodge the attacks that the man with the tiger face was making. To those who watched it appeard that she telported from one spot to the next.
"I told you once already, I do not know this Giggles you speak of."
She could tell that this made the man even more angery.
I do need to be careful. He is a good fighter. I don't want to do this but I might have to.
Raku decided to push the offense. She unsed her speed to attack with both her katana and wakizashi. She pushed forward as strongly as she could without bring harm to herself.

Tsukasa continue on his way to were the main focus of the bandits attack was happening. The sight of the battle made his mind flash back to his dream. The lady in the black reminded him of the female in his dream and the other looked fimilar. When he saw the face of the other man it reminded him of the winged tiger. Something caught his attention out of the corner of his eye and snapped him back into the present. He noticed that Lady Elestirne on the back of Olore. She had just killed two of the bandits. Tsukasa was surprised that Lady Elestirne herself came to help with the bandits situation. He also wondered what Authnor was doing, and what his reaction to Lady Elestirne being here. He turned to face the main battle. He saw the bandit leader had pushed the offesive. Tsukasa went to help the the man that had features like a tiger.
As he approached the battle, he could see a look in the bandit leader's eyes. Tsukasa stared right back into her eyes.
"We will be willing to give you a chance to surrender. Do so and you will live. Do not and you will die."

Raku blocked every shot that the tiger face man threw at her. She wasn't able to find an opening as her strikes where blocked also. That is when she saw the samurai come up. They looked eyes for a brief moment.
Oh how I have missed you little samurai.
That was when he offered the chance for her to surrender, or she would die. That made her laugh. She put some distance between her and the other two fighters.
"I tire of all this. I came her for a reason."
With that she start to chant an a language that was unknown to most there. As she finished the chant, a wave of dark engery blasted in a 25ft circle with her at the center of it. The wave knocked over fighters and bandits alike. She then start to cast another spell. As she finished that one, great leathery wings grew from her back. She took flight and headed for the main part of town. She landed outside of the libaray. Her wings disappeared. She casted another spell that would give her the illusion of a normal commoner in the libaray to any who lay eyes on her. She entered.

The library was two stories. Wooden floors held vast shelves of books and scrolls. Throughout the library were cases of ancient and mysterious items. Just as you enter a long white haired elf sits. As the woman enters he grips his Elvin saber that lies across the desk. He releases the hilt and stands.
“Miss, are you ok? Are the bandits gone?” He moves in nudging her in behind him to assure she is safe. He looks out the window.
“Hope this mess is wrapped up soon…” He looks to her. “…ah can I help you?”

Carneth couldn't tell who was more surprised, himself or the bandits, when the disheveled men came around the corner of the alleyway. The first ran into Carneth blindly, and then got angry as he rebounded off of the solidly built dwarf.
"Watch where you're walkin', shortarse!" The bandit growled as he grabbed Carneth by the shirt. His companion chuckled.
Carneth's eyes narrowed above his golden beard. "Ye should keep yer paws t' yerself."
Carneth grabbed the man's arms and threw himself forward. There was a crunching sound as Carneth's helmeted forehead connected with the bandit's nose, knocking the man backwards. He hit the opposite wall of the alley and fell into a sitting position, blood dripping down his face.
The second bandit had drawn his long dagger as soon as he'd heard the crunch, and as his companion fell away he placed a kick right in the middle of Carneth's chest. The dwarf fell backwards again, the bandit's dagger at his throat.
"That was a good trick, little one. But what're ya gonna do now?" The man grinned wickedly.
"Bah, ye're even stupider than the firs' one!" Carneth grabbed the bandit's sword arm with his left hand, stopping the dagger from plunging into his flesh. As he rose, he brought his right elbow around and smashed the side of the bandit's knee. Before the bandit could even cry out, Carneth was on his feet, now holding the man's arm with both hands. The dwarf stepped forward and pivoted, all the while keeping ahold of the bandit's wrist and twisting. The bandit screamed as his forearm was fractured. Carneth's next elbow knocked him unconscious.
Carneth grabbed both men by the collar and threw them into the street, right at the feet of two guards. When the guardsmen looked up, the dwarf was gone.

By the time Tsukasa realized the spell that the bandit leader was casting, it was too late. The wave of dark engery had already hit him and the last thing he remembered was his head hitting the ground and him blacking out.
When he regain conscience, he saw that the bandit leader was gone. Tsukasa pulled himself off the ground very slowly. His head and right arm both screamed of pain. He made a quick scan of the area. He saw Nichtmar and went over to him.
"Nichtmar-san, did you see where the bandit leader went off to?"

Raku smiled as she was usher into the building. She knew she had to play her cards right around this person.
"Thank you for your kindness sir, and yes, I am fine. I have a felling that the brave warriors of this city will have the bandit problem taken care of shortly."
She paused for a moment in thought.
"I believe you might be able to help me. I'm looking for an artifact that was stolen from my homeland. The thief struck many years ago, and my grandfather chased him through the mist. Another mist of the same type rolled in and I decided to try to see if I could find the artifact. The artifact is a case that has scarabs carved into the surface. Any information you have on this artifact would be helpful."

The undead cicada watched the scene from above, it whispered to a Fallen about what was happening. Good. The rats and other sewer animals ate enough of the black slime from the fountain to be our unwilling spies. I'll activate the spell while all are distracted. After a few seconds, they will not be discernible from any others!
He reported to Giggles.

He heard the collective scream and saw the black concussion throw bodies everywhere. Then something soared out and away. It even took out several bandits as well as guards. Tsukasa was getting up as he ran up.
“That thing headed west of the city. Must’ve realized they were outnumbered. Wonder what they wanted?”

Helvaryn, a true lover of history, found her story intriguing. He did know of the box. He turned to her.
“About 20 years ago I was really starting to build a collection and a thief stole something of mine.”
He grinned, “I let him take it. You see I’m no mere librarian. I served as a scout for the Elvin army for several years before coming to the Land Between. So I followed the thief back to his hideout. There I found the box and a few other things and stole them right back from him. I was impressed with the thief so I let him live and now he doesn’t steal from me anymore.”
He was walking towards the case, “I have no idea what it does, but there it is. If you’ve traveled this far for it, I see no problem returning it to its owner.”
He opened the case and handed it to her.

Giggle's partly regenerated form lay hidden in it's guardian. Upon hearing the Fallen's report he chuckled.
Seems Raku has gotten bored without me.... No matter, she didn't use my vassals or set me up, so let her have her fun.
After which he used his guardian's strength to cast the spell, he felt bored waiting for his body to recover.
It was then that all the rats, roaches and other sewer dewling animals, in Mittelmarch, eyes lit up red. They seemed to howl in pain for a bit and go into spasms on the ground. It Quickly passed and they went along their way as if nothing had happened and appearing to all as nothing but common animals.

I think she has a purpose. I mean, the bandits are getting slaughtered! "Also I can sense where she his for she has my brother's magic about her. Nichtmar scans the area, “Hmm, strange I wonder what their purpose was?”

Wulf begins to awaken to the sound of wind. The rock beneath him is cold and damp. His eyes begin to focus and he notices he’s in a carved out room in the side of a mountain. He then hears the scribbles of a quill. Telamon sits writing something on a scroll. It looks as if he’s packing a crate, though he seems to be leaving several things behind.
“You are awake…” Telamon still writes without looking.
“Good.”
He rolls up the scroll and tosses it into the crate and seals it shut with some sort of spell.
He turns to the rest of the lab and cabinets of vials books and scrolls and points a hand towards it. Fire erupts and burns everything. All accept the sealed crate behind him.
He then looks upon Wulf.
“Do you wonder why I brought you here?”
“I will show you.”
Telamon turns into his wolf-dragon form. Instead of hearing the words, Wulf hears them in his head.
o O (Ride on my back and I will show you, or you may stay. The choice is yours.)

"Trust is something i dont give out for free. Although you didnt truly harm anyone at the inn, i still trust you very little. If you will allow me my weapon, then i will follow you, and i will do no more harm than you do in front of me."

Telamon steps closer to the ledge and looks over. o O (Unless you’ve been hiding the ability to fly, I suggest you ride. I do not wish to wait for you to follow.) Wulf somewhat reluctantly mounts Telamon’s wolf-dragon form and they leap out into the open air. Telamon hovers and faces the room in the mountain. A ball of fire charges in his hands and then blasts into the room, the concussion brings down the rock ceiling covering the crate boulders and rocks. Telamon pauses for a moment to oversee the damage and they soar off.

Wulf stays on his back trying to figure out what kind of creature this thing was, and then also the fact of his game. He just couldnt get his mind to wrap around it, though he knew that he would find out soon enough as he rode on the back of the beast, at the mercy to the thousand foot fall below.
