That means Gron won't be able to attend :\ That sucks.
I don't even know if I'll be able to go. We'll see how things go. Penn is pretty far away.

I'm planning on going, but my friend and I have only got his Sedan to use, with spears, a tent and all the other junk, it'd be good to find another vehicle. I've got plenty to help with gas. It could be possible to include a third person in the sedan, but hoping to get us a ride in a bigger vehicle.

as arios said, my car isnt the largest, and without any modifications or extra items, can really only carry 2 people and their weapons/supplies comfortably.
That being said, im all for a caravan and the like, or even a larger vehicle.

Caravan...reminds me of a random and near impossible thing to organize, but imagine the lulziness of gathering a massive caravan of all Dag people headed to Rag on one route, all stopping at the same stops, flooding Taco Bells and other such places like a barbarian horde. Epic, yet not going to happen. /random stupid thought.

No car and no money. Until I get a reliable car I shall be absent from most practices and events.

I realized yesterday that there are potentially a lot of people that have never been to Ragnarok before, or people who have been before but might still consider themselves new to the experience attending this year. These are just a few things I know of to keep in mind the week before Ragnarok and as you're getting ready for the event.
1. Bring a photo ID. If you do not have a state issued photo ID, bring your birth cert. and a school ID or work ID.. anything to match a name to a face, and it should be fine. (Please, don't loose your paperwork. Keep everything locked in your car where it will stay safe and dry.)
2. Bring a printed copy of your registration if you pre-regged! A lot of things can go wrong with 600 something people going through pre-reg, so you may need to verify you have paid for registration, or you might have to pay again.
3. Make camping plans before you get to Ragnarok. Although it may not be as much of a problem this year, camps may not have space for everyone who did not pre-reg.
4. After 6pm each night, everyone, even if you are just drinking water, must have a period container to drink from. As far as I understand, this is a Ragnarok rule. (Goodwill has some great period-looking containers for cheap, or you can buy one from the merchants there for fairly reasonable prices.)
5. Everyone needs to respect those camping around you and clean up after themselves daily; trash, belongings ect. Follow the rules of your camp master and respect the people you camp or beside. If your things are left out, they can/will get thrown away, or they are free game!
6. You will need to drink TONS of water. Be prepared to purchase more water WHEN you run out.
7. Bring a change of mundane clothes to keep in the car. Keep them in a trash bag to keep them clean and dry for the trip home, or a trip to town when all of your other things are wet.
8. Bring extra money. If you're camping with a large group, always try to pitch in on food or bring your own. No one is going to feed you everyday, and you'll need more than PB&J all week long. If you go with someone to Rag or leave Rag for a trip to town, try to pitch in on gas if you can, even if it's $5.
9. Make sure you have weapons or weapons supplies to fall back on. Your favorite weapon may not pass, and it wouldn't be fun to go all the way to Rag just watch everyone else fight.
10. Showers are necessary; If you don’t think so, 2 days at Rag will make you change your mind, then you’ll WISH you had shower supplies. If you plan on taking a dip in the swimming pond, you'll want to shower off then too, just realize your white trunks might not be white anymore.
11. If it’s your average Ragnarok, it WILL RAIN, and it WILL BE HOT. Plan accordingly for ANY form of weather the entire week. Have garb that can be layered, and be prepared to get wet WHEN it rains. (*Leave a clean set of mundane clothes in the car for the ride home where they’ll stay dry.) Keep your garb in trash bags if you think your tent could flood, or line the bottom of your bags with them just in case.
12. If you’re having trouble finding period.. anything, try looking in consignment shops, secondhand stores, flea markets and yard sales for jewelry, feasting gear, camping items and costuming. Period stuff often ends up in these places at low prices. They are also great sources for wooden bowls, mugs, goblets and other feasting gear.
13. Don’t panic if you forget anything! There is a wal-mart just down the road, and there is always someone running to town who you can hitch a ride with if you rode with a group. *Personally, I recommend you buy things like food and water after you get to Rag, or anything else that you know you have to buy for the week. It'll save you space on the way there, and time by not packing it. Also, you can help your neighbors if they’ve forgotten something important that you have. Sharing is both noble and generous, and makes any campsite better.
14. Speaking of being generous, try to be courteous and pack your stuff nicely and compact for the trip there and back. It'll save from a mess and create more space for the other five people in the car with you.
Yea, I guess that’s it.
If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask! These are the links from the old Ragnarok page if you think they may be of use, and the current Rag site is listed as a hyperlink above.

*If you are under 18: for Ragnarok at Coopers Lake, you need your legal guardian to accompany you to Ragnarok for the entire week. Temporary guardianship will not be honored.
Good luck packing everyone!

Good stuff Tari. High five~!
In other news, the link for the Rag packing list (otherwise known as Kyrax's Rag packing list) is a VERY good resource. It's what I used to prepare for my very first (and only, sad face) Rag.
Lastly, don't believe the horror stories 100% about what goes on during Rag Nightlife. Most of it is blown out of proportion. If you want to avoid alcohol/questionably legal/bad decisions it's as easy as saying "no thanks" or just avoiding the 'party camps.' Really, it's just that simple.
