Why the ruling on metal gauntlets oof? I'm assuming you're talking about the clamshells that came through the last couple years? As long as they aren't spikey/entangling I'm cool with them, curious of your opinion.

that guy was hitting people with the gauntlets, unintentionally i'm sure but pentwyvern made him remove them last harvest feast. And if pentwyvern says your hurting people i'm inclined to believe.

well in my case it is something like this metal gauntlets are great for your safety, but when i am heralding it is my belief that i do not care about your safety with respect to yourself, but rather everyone else's safety with respect to you. Your hands will not be hurt wearing metal gauntlets true, but how many times have you gone to punch block some one and accidentally punched the other person in the hand? Now imagine what would happen to your hand if the other person was wearing metal gauntlets? most likely you would break your hand. So while you might be safer the people around you are far less so, and consequently i say metal gauntlets should be disallowed.

I'm curious what the ruling on arrow head color will be.
Last year the missile weapon checkers were instructed to not fail arrows based on the color of the head of the arrow (ie, yellow, obnoxiously bright, etc). Mysteriously all the arrows with brightly colored or yellow heads failed for other reasons (when those same arrows passed less than a week later without any alteration).
I'd like to ask what the ruling on this will be ahead of time instead of feeling like I did last year where I'm trying to meet an ever changing standard.
Also, you can count on myself and a number of Stormhaven folks offering up our backs for weapons checking.

The young lady who checked arrows last year had no idea what she was doing spoons. i had to go back through all of the arrows and re-pass the ones she failed because she didnt know how to weapons check. When she came up to me while i was doing it and started harping at me i proceeded to explain how little she knew about weapons checking.
We dont care about the cover of your arrows in mittelmarch and if anyone has a complaint on the field you can tell them the head weapons checker told them they can shove it.

Spoons - Thistle and I will be doing arrow checks this year so hopefully we won't have any problems. We both have worked arrow checks at Rag for a couple of years and we did the check at War last year.
