Assassin’s Tourney Rules
General:
• Marks and Guards will sign up at Troll. Assassins will sign up after feast.
• The Assassin’s Tourney begins on Saturday at 8pm and will conclude at Midnight
• All participants must be prepared to play at 8pm
• Only Assassins will need to report to Dorian and Carneth at 8pm at the Tourney Table by the pavilion to receive their assignments.
• Any and all questions regarding rules should be directed to Carneth and Dorian
• Normal Dagorhir armor and weapons rules apply to the Assassin’s Tournament.
Marks and Guards:
• Can have up to 6 Guards protecting them
• Only guards can perform duties such as checking for weapons or poison stickers
• No mercenaries or other outside help can be used
• Marks and their Guards can each carry 1 blue weapon for defense
• Marks and Guards may be armored as they choose
• Neither marks nor their Guards can carry any additional equipment that is not mentioned in the above rules (this includes shields).
* When a mark is killed, their guards die with them
• Marks will be given a Token with their name signifying their status as a Mark, which must be given to the Assassin after the Mark has been killed.
• If a Mark wishes to continue to play after being killed, they must personally return to Carneth and Dorian to be given back their Token.
• If a Mark does not return, it will be assumed they no longer wish to play
Assassins:
• Can use either a dagger or a poison sticker to kill their mark
• Can be armored as they choose
• May not carry any additional equipment other than what is mentioned above
• When an Assassin is killed they must Respawn at the Tourney Table, where they will be reassigned to a different Mark
• It is the Assassin’s responsibility to return the Mark’s Token to the Tourney Table after a successful assassination.
• An assassination is not forfeit if there are witnesses
• Assassins may not have anyone fight with them
Poison:
• Assassins will be given three poison stickers
• Kills by Poison and by Dagger are worth the same point value
• Poison stickers must be reasonably visible on the poisoned item
• Poison stickers only affect the item they are touching. For example, a sticker on a cooler only affects the cooler and not the drinks inside.
• Only Marks can be killed by poison (Assassins and Guards are immune)
• If a Guard finds a poison sticker while their mark is still alive, they can discard it
* Poison stickers cannot be placed on people (such as on skin or clothes) or public use items (chairs, tables, water fountains, tents etc). Most everything else is acceptable. If unsure, refer to Carneth and Dorian.
• If a kill is made with poison the Mark must put the poison sticker on their token before giving it to the Assassin to turn in.
