I am posting on some different boards for some assistance for Dragonspire. We are looking at a Boy Scout camp as an event site and the administrators have asked if any of our chapters have used Boy Scout camps for events. They usually require insurance which is cost prohibitive. If we can show that we have used Boy Scout camps successfully in the past it would help them try and for go the insurance rider and trust our waiver. Has Mittlemarch use a scout camp as an event site? If so could you share the name and date of the site?
This also brings up another idea, perhaps the realms should assemble a resume of event sites that they have used. When negotiating with a new site it may help to have the weight of years of success behind us. More venues require insurance and they just don't understand how we function. They always want to charge as if we will be having vendors, spectators and other activities that just don't apply to our events.
