Sephiroth is the man.
Yes, it would be slow. It wouldn't be something you would want to use when you're all alone, but it could be effective when paired with sword & shield or when used as part of a group. Especially if it's stabby.

Indeed. If it wasn't stabby, it would be limited to two modes of attack: Slicing down and swiping sideways.

You could get a BandShoppe pole. Or a solid fiberglass core. It would need to be thick, and therefore heavy, but it could work. Of course, both need to be ordered in bulk to make them worth your money.

Not really, it's already dead, so damage really doesn't matter. Finding the chump willing to be carried around, solely to have the crap beat out of him is a different matter.
I was in Dun Abhon one time, and we were playing kill your killer. I had amassed a single leg injury, but had caused so much death... in the corner of the field I might add... I had created a corpse wall around me. I defended with a javelin toss and if they died, I added them to the wall, if not I used the diversion to kill them. Either way, once they were dead I added them to my "wall." I had it up to 7 or so bodies before I was finally beaten.

Gruesome, but clever nonetheless. As for your corpse-shield, good luck holding a person with one arm in such a way as to be a practical shield. The best defense, however, is empty air. They can't hit you if you're not there to be hit!

Is that the white stuff from JoAnn's? Or is it more like the grey computer foam?
It looks very round. How did you do it? Or does it look better than it is?

i've done something like that before. though not nearly as cool. me and my battle axe and i got legged, i grabbed a nearby shield and started swinging at legs of people who came by, i had about 4 bodies around me making me only able to get hit from one of two sides, eventually i got double teamed and that was the end of that

oh and btw, we were talking about sephiroths sword earlier......there is a site where you can buy a live steel version of it for 99 bucks, it's 50 inches long, 4/8th of an inch thick, comes with sheath and stand, but u need money and they're out of stock, however they do have clouds sword for 44.89. and these two are the most expensive swords on that entire site, they have lot's of cool stuff for under 20 bucks.
