I change mine to realms only.. Let it be known that we decide to do both units and realms, I have to go with Dragoons, but I'm hoping realms...

Paul Ruster is a public park; we won't be able to control if the park has port-O-castles stationed near the fighting field or not.. as far as renting our own, I'm not sure how that would work either, considering that, again, it's a public park and we are not strictly "reserving" the space. Worth looking into though. Thanks.

So, I kinda feel like this is the elephant in the room.. But RAGNAROK is coming up! For those of you not in the know, Ragnarok is the largest Dagorhir event anywhere; a week-long camping adventure with friends, food, and FIGHTING! Ragnarok will be held at Cooper's Lake Campground in Slippery Rock, PA, the week of June 12th-19th, 2011. The campground will be closed to mundanes for this week, giving us prime camping space, which should allow for 50-75% of camps to have access to power hookups, and 100% of camps to have running water. There is no noise restriction / curfew. = LOTS OF FUN! Some things to keep in mind: 1. Bring a photo ID 2. Bring a printed copy of your registration if you pre-regged! A lot of things can go wrong with 600+ people going through pre-reg, so you may need to verify you have paid for registration, or you might have to pay again! 3. If you are under age and get caught drinking, you, your chaperon, and possibly your camp master get kicked out. This is very serious, so follow the rules of your camp master! 4. After 6pm each night, everyone, even if you are just drinking water must have a period container to drink from! This is a Ragnarok rule. (Goodwill has some great period-looking containers.) 5. Everyone needs to respect those camping around you and clean up after themselves daily; trash, belongings ect. If your things are left out, they can and will get thrown away! 6. DRINK WATER! Seriously. Do it. It's hot, and you will melt, or die, whatever comes first. Buying bottled water and keeping in a cooler at camp is easy, sanitary, and cheaper than dying! If not this year, hopefully you all will have the chance to experience Ragnarok.

No, it doesn't cost any extra to camp. You can show up as early as 12:00noon on Friday to set up your camp, and must be gone by 11:00am Sunday morning..

Troll Shifts for Olympics VIII
Friday 1:00 - 3:00 - Tari / Rune 3:00 - 5:00 - Torin / Anvil 5:00 - 7:00 - Zigler / Storm 7:00 - 9:00 - Kotaro / Amalys 9:00 - close - Kotaro / Oof
Saturday 8:00 - 10:00 - Tari / Torin 10:00 - close - Zigler / Kam
Mittelmarchers,
If you are still interested in helping with Troll, see me at the event and I'll find something for you to do. If you fail to show up for your Troll shift, I will cut you. The person I throw in to take your place might cut you too.
There will be two tables; one for Troll, one for Tourney sign-ups. Decide amongst yourselves which person will be doing which task, or decide to switch mid-shift.
Troll will be responsible for:
- collecting waivers - collecting the $20 entry fee - ensuring everyone signed-in gets an event tag - ensuring those who have pre-reged HAVE actually pre-reged, duh - distributing remaining cabin spots
Concerning cabin spots: Those working Troll need to be firm about our "first come, first serve" policy. "No, we will not save a cabin spot for you and your seven friends that aren't here yet." "Yes, we will allow you to pay for more cabin spots other than yourself and dedicate them for others in your party."
Question: let me know, come find me - I'll be walking around somewhere.
Thank you again for helping out!

I REPEAT, We don’t need to know your work schedule, or that you have to leave for an hour on Saturday to feed your dog. We don’t need to know anything but when you can work within the above hours.

That's correct, we don't have practice on Sunday, but that doesn't mean there won't be people that would come out to fight, especially if this is the only day Galladorn could travel as a group. I think this weekend many people will be out of town for an event, but in the future this is something that could be worked out. Thanks for wanting to get a joined practice day; we love fighting new people!

Tuesday practice starts at 4:30 at Lawrence Park - the weather for tomorrow looks like rain, so I'm not sure who will be there, but we're glad you're interested again! Saturday practice starts at noon at Holliday Park.

I made an announcement at practice today, so everyone should be aware of troll sign ups! Please let us know when you are willing to work troll, or some other form of helping MM. We're still looking for another person on most of the shifts. I plan to be around/help direct troll most of Friday night regardless, but I'm still wanting to fill two people for each shift.
Thanks for signing up! :]
