Barag the minimum age to be on the field is 16, however there is no minimum age to attend So if I am 15 I can't fight at all or compete? All I can do is watch? If so is this the rule for every event? Even practices?

It's been the rule for the few events I have gone to, as for practices, if you bring a waiver I don't see anything wrong with it. lol, I remember beating up on Lee during some of the IUPUI classes.

So if I am 15 I can't fight at all or compete? All I can do is watch? If so is this the rule for every event? Even practices? It is the rule for every event... Practice age has some flexibility in each realm. But 16 is the standard age... (Legally it's when youth begin to be allowed some adult privileges in the real world... such as obtaining a Driver's Permit.) I hear your pain. And I am sympathetic. Please understand that Dagorhir stresses SAFE play. I've known several 15 year olds who are physically big enough and mature enough and with enough control to take the field safely.... And I've met a few 16-17 year olds who clearly aren't. Nope... it's not fair. But the reality is that "children" are a hazard on the field. No, that label might not truly apply to you, but the legalities are such that it must. This is an "organized" sport after all. And in the adult (and very litigious) world C.Y.A. trumps "Why can't I play?" I know, we live in a world of immediate gratification... all I can say to you is... There are some things that are WORTH waiting for. Hang in there.

Well...I've been to many events where people under the age of 16 have participated. Including Ragnarok.

If you are a minor, as long as you have a signed and notarized waiver, you will be allowed to fight in the events. If we see that you are in danger on the field or not regarding safety while fighting we'll take you off the field and you can enjoy sparring on the side and the tournaments. 16 is not the limit for this event. Just bring that waiver. Also Mittelmarchers, I need all new waivers for everyone. www.dagorhir.com/dagorhir/Dagorhirwaiver.pdfbe green, print double-sided Thanks

who is running the tourneys this year? I only ask because we just had the aratari tourneys and I took note of some things that make the brackets go a little faster and stay a bit more random. If whoever is in charge is curious, email me.
And I must say I am looking forward to this event.
