How strict are you on garb during practices?
I plan on actually making some but i dint know if every practice you had to wear it or not.

Basic garb (or even a black shirt and black sweats) is good enough for most practices. I tend to wear my tabard too. It's more fun if everyone's in garb. But just don't show up in jeans and a tshirt.

i wasn't planning on it.
I wanted to be prepared because Nichos and I are trying to make Tuesdays practice and i didn't want to show up and be outta place.
I've been learning to sew and i plan on making a basic (but crappy) clothing set

The general rule for practice is we want you in garb, please please please, because it looks lame if you're not. But if the option is you not being in garb or you not fighting, we'd much prefer you out fighting with us in whatever you have. A t-tunic and sweatpants has worked for garb for tons of people over the years, and really shoes don't matter at all at practice, they barely matter on a big field (though it's always badass to see someone with medieval boots and the full shebang). Also, I always have at least a tabard or two in my car to throw on, so any time I'm at practice feel free to ask.

depends on the practice actually. and the weather. in colder weather like this last week most of us took to wearing warmer clothes because we simply didnt feel like wearing garb. myself and nichtmar included in this. tuesday practices are always more lax in terms of garb i've found, saturdays the big one, when we actually do RP and such.

Wrap pants are freaking awesome. They are comfortable and incredibly easy to make with really large seam allowances. All you have to remember is that the way they are sewn is strange. The U you cut out of the cloth is for your crotch. One piece of fabric for each leg. ~Frothy
