Weeeeell, i might have some ideas. You really seem to be into the archery alot, so maybe more of a hunter role. Something thats a bit nature loving, though with a hint of bad-a**ness.
Maybe a bounty hunter who used to be a druid. Something along the lines of your characters village and surrounding forest that kept said village well was felled in one night by an army of something and that led to you becoming a hunter in order to track down the ones responsible, or just to bring peace to your own self for letting it happen.
I don't have any garb ideas, though i'll keep an eye out for anything good.

Why does everyones family/town/loved one always have to die for them to leave and come here?

What fantasy book have you read where the characters don't have death to people/things close to them either in the prologue, first couple chapters, or implied in their unwritten backstory? Tis a fantasy thing, I think.
Doesn't make it a necessity though, in any case.

Just throwing out here wulf but all your idea's sound suspiciously elfy, lord knows we have enough of those hippy tree huggers around already, it's already been proven in another thread they cause cancer
First of all, Giggles said he wanted to be a human, so we might as well role with it.
I could see you picking up the battle priest kinda character pretty easily, considering it would give you a great opportunity to ham it up with battle-recited prayers and the creative freedom to develop a unique deity, or just to go with a fantasy/real world one already around. Either way, there is enough material to fill a TB, you just have to look.
As for garb, I know you're a slight guy, but chainmaille is so fitting for a battle priest role. Wearing a tabard over it with the symbol of your deity can enhance the badassery. (see attached picture for example). Doesn't have to look exactly like that, just an example.
Elves do smell funny though. And like to hug trees for some reason....

Point to Kotaro And for the record, I don't cause cancer either, and a loved one didn't die to cause me to come to Mittelmarch. The mists brought me of their own accord. But I'm only a friend and ally, not a resident, so perhaps its not my place to speak.
