Fall Fight Battles!
Warm ups:
Free for all, Teams of 2, Multiple teams. Your standard every day warm ups to get the blood flowing.
Scenario 1: Resource Battle
The winter months are coming and it is time to gather our supplies to store away for the cold months to come. But that's no easy task when the bandits and raiders want to steal them for themselves.
Three teams line up on opposite sides of the field, equally spaced. Each team has a storage area in their section of the field. In the center of the field are a pile of resources (food, fire, wood). Each team gathers as many of them as they can and protects the resources from the other teams stealing attempts. A hold is called every seven minutes to count the items. There will be several rounds. The team with the most points at the end of the last round will win.
Resources must be carried in your hand. You may not carry anything else in the hand you are using to carry a resource. Resources may not be hidden once inside your storage area.
This is an unlimited res battle.
Scenario 2: Protect the Crops
Some of the resources have been gathered, but the fields still have crops yet to be harvest. WE MUST PROTECT THEM!
In this hold the point battle, there are three point circles equally spaced in the center of the field to protect and defend, each representing the fields of crops. At the end of seven minutes, a brief hold is called and the team with the most people ALIVE in the point circle gets a point. At the end of a half hour battle, the team with the most points wins.
This is an unlimited res battle.
Scenario 3: The village is under attack!
The village is under attack from the bandits! We must hold them off and protect the keep from these raiders.
One team will represent the bandits while the other team will represent the villagers. The villagers will have three points with a cone in it to protect, the final of which will be in a “keep.” The bandit’s goal will be to enter the village and knock the cone over in a twist on the “ring the bell” battle.
The bandits will have touch and go res, while the villagers will be resurrected by their herald in groups of four.
Battle will go until all the cones are knocked over. This can be done with a limb or a weapon, but cannot be done with missiles.
Then attackers and defenders will trade! Team with the fastest time wins.
Scenario 4: Force them back!
The only way to stop those raiders is to force them back over the bridge and away from our lands! Push them over the river and slay their leader!
A massive bridge battle to end the day. There will be a single, massive bridge across the field. The team that holds the majority of the bridge, forcing the other team back, for the longest time wins. The herald will watch the center line to see which team is holding more of the bridge and will time it.
This is a timed, unlimited res battle.
