This is an idea for a game that could be sport like in nature. This is a combination of a game I played at Amt practice and at Rag.

The main idea is poison the wells. Its played with goals, which can be buckets or laundry baskets or anything with walls so that an effort has to made to make a goal. The goals represent the well. The balls are the gym dodge balls, they represent the poison, usually the head of a dead enemy or whatever you want. Each well is actually a village, with the furthest back well being a town/castle. Each team starts at their Castle rez, grabs the poison and tries to poison the wells.
You can play with less wells depending on number of players, and different configurations. The furthest out wells count for 1 pt, second closest 2 points, and furthest back 3 points. The poison can be thrown into the well. A well can not be scored in twice in a row. Only the team that owns the well can remove poison from a well. A poison goal is only made if the poison stays in the well (if it bounces out or knocks over the well in the process, no points).
Rez variation. When a goal is scored on a well, members of the team that was scored upon may rez at that well until they score or another well is scored upon, however they can only do this if they keep one team member on the well. This is to help clarify which well is also rezable and to give a slight disadvantage to having a forward well rez. This is to represent the village sending reinforcements to help deal with the attacking team. Only one forward well can be rezable at a time.
First to X points wins. You can change the terrain as well, add in a river or bridge. The number of poisons can change as well as their starting points. With rez variation there should be a good back and forth battle, with trade offs for scoring on lower point wells granting rez point to the opposite team.
I wouldn't mind buying the props for this game (balls are at play it again sports, laundry baskets or something for a goal prolly wallmart) and running this at the monthly melee.
