So0o... Baethor said O's was the weekend of April 4th? Well, thats the same weekend as my senior prom.. ...in Evansville. ..dang it.
Would it be really bad to miss your senior prom for an event? ..because I bet I would have more fun at Os

I found Prom boring and loud and expensive. 'Course, this is me we're talking about.
(Choose Olympicsssss...)

If your graduating class size is under 100, I would just go to the O's. (mine was actually 17)

Personally, I never went to my prom. I'd have totally gone to the Olympics if it had been on the same day. Then again, is this the type of thing you would want to be able to tell like, your kids or friends or whoever that, 'yeah, I went to my senior prom.'? Other than 'bragging rights' that you were there I wouldn't bother going to prom, myself.

It's an expensive party requiring uncomfortable clothing.
Just like weddings.

Having gone to prom 4 times during my high school career, O heartily endorse attending the Olympics. In 20 years you probably will have no idea how to even get in touch with your date.....but you may very well still be in touch with several of your fellow olympics attendees. not to mention you will have more fun at the O's.

Say the men...prom means much more to woman than it does men.
Granted my prom went nothing like I had hoped and my dates switched a week before because my original date was a XXXXXX! There were 20 guys and gals who all ended up going together and thats what I remember...night spent with friends before never seeing most of them again.

Larien skipped her prom to go to an Einherjar event. I went to my prom, because I had no event to go to instead. I had about as much fun as I do watching most television. Which is not much.
It really comes down to a personal choice. You only have one opportunity to go to your prom. So if it's something you have looked forward to or think you might enjoy, you might want to do it. Olympics will come again, and other events happen all the time. However, if you're not sure, don't like dances, or were just going because you feel like you're supposed to for whatever reason, perhaps the event would be a better use of your time.

Thanks Oof,
I'm just trying to get my schedule done for the year. Looks like I may be able to squeeze in Rag as well if everything works out.
Thanks,
Az

I'm not sure what I'll end up doing. I was thinking about driving up and staying at Os friday night, and leaving saturday to get to prom on time: however, I don't think there is a force on earth that would convince my mother to let my attend a Dag event over my senior high school prom. ..but really, I'm 18 tomorrow, I should be able to do what I want, huh?
yea, Tari = legal.
