Dunno what your talking about. Maybe a link / picture / description would help. digitalbonsai.com/dagrules-draft/ Check section 5 - Armor. If it meets those basic criteria....then most likely yes.

so its stronger then theft? I dont think theft is an allowable armour component anyways.
edit: Also researching the incas a little. they had no such armour, there armour was usually hide, cloth with maybe plates of wood or bronze. to deal with other south american tribes wooden and stone weapons. if they had armour stronger then steel they probably wouldnt have been slaughtered by the spaniards quite as badly as they were.

Having been down around the Mayan Pyramids I'd guess it was too hot for armor.
I would have worn some mud armor though to try and protect from the Mosquitos. They made you pay a blood tax every day...

supposedly they wore cloth or hide costumes and would sometiems plate them with bronze or some other metal, or wood.
