I know some of you guys hate archers, but.... I was wondering what would be the best way to make a decent quiver. I have about 8 arrows just sitting in a drawstring bag right now, and it tips and dumps them at the slightest chance it gets (which is every few seconds). I'm going to Dick's today to see if I can find a big enough factory-made quiver, but I'm not holding my breath. Otherwise, I think I'll have to basically cover a tall plastic waste-bin or woven basket with cloth and strap it to my side. Anybody else have a better idea? Zalos?

Tachibana Sanjuro made a quiver using blue foam and a coffee can. Plus you could always use leather.

if your looking for something like a simple side quiver. A leather drill holster will do the trick. I have only found leather ones at Menards.

I'm with Zig on this one... I think a modified golf club bag could be an easy, cheap, and effective way to go. Check your local Goodwill. Even better, check the goodwill outlet where you pay by the pound. Who knows, you might even score some graphite rods and some good garb waiting to happen while you're there.

OK, so I was wondering how to tell if a golf club is made of graphite or not. Does it say somewhere on it?

OK, so I was wondering how to tell if a golf club is made of graphite or not. Does it say somewhere on it? All the graphite shafts I have seen are black, while the aluminum one's are nice shiny....well aluminum. To the OP: www.dagorhir.com/forums/index.php?topic=14410.0A guy in my unit made a quiver out of nothing but foam. Blue foam sides, pipe insulation along the top end, blue foam caps on the bottom. Lots of duct tape to hold. Held 12 arrows, he said comfortably. Also have seen the 25-30 gal plastic trashcans covered in duct tape, seemed to hold a huge quantity of arrows.
