I was just wondering who makes better quality stuff and which one is the best to buy for how good they look and how long they last.

I think it depends on what you want. I think Edhellen has a lifetime guarantee, but I'd need to look a little deeper before swearing that's the truth.
As far as quality, I'd say Eryndor has better spears. I haven't seen an Edhellen javelin, but I know Dhugal's javelins are better than Eryndor's. Of course, RavenHeart Armories (Dhugal makes really good weapons) isn't open for mass orders yet. You can probably get some javs from him. Either pay him at the MMM or give someone money to pay him.
My best advice, of course, is to learn to make your own weapons. You'll never be able to repair an Edhellen or Eryndor weapon if you don't know how to make a weapon. And you can custom make your weapons to fit your needs.

What, you didn't see an Edhellen javelin? Didn't you look at all the crap that guy from Edhellen brought with him to the Olympics? They were nice, but Dhugal's got better quality ones.

That was Soth, and no, I don't recall seeing one.
Either way, Dhugal's javelins are higher quality and cheaper.

I haven't tried Eryndor stuff, but Edhellan, save for Nichtmar's lightsaber, is a bit heavy and unbalanced for my liking. they also, as far as I know, don't sell green weps, and I love me some stabbin'. I'm with Aulric; I prefer building my own stuff. It's cheap, repairable, and fun.

Soth was from Edhellen..? Makoto wants to buy a sword from Eryndor and I almost smacked him, yelling "What are you thinking?? Build your own! Sure, Eryndor makes them pretty, but YOU could learn to build swords like that yourself!"

You're mostly right, Sho'vak; Edhellen doesn't sell weapons with stabbing tips. They do sell spears and javelins, but they don't put stabbing tips on their weapons. Because stabbing tip technology is still at the point where even the best tips need to be replaced every 2 to 3 months, Edhellen won't put stabbies on their weapons. Their weapons have a guarantee, and they don't want to constantly replace stabbing tips. Or at least that's what I assume.
You are also right, Frosty. Makoto should explore the other side of Dagorhir; the creative side. Maybe weapon-building won't be his thing, but maybe he'll discover that he loves to sew weapon covers (I do) or loves working with leather or rings. And by exploring, he can begin earning non-com ranks.

You are correct on your reasons for them not making stabby tips Alric.

I neeed to interrupt at this point. I have a huge basket full of javelins I have to make already and I don't have the time to take on any other projects at this time. Once I have the javvies done and out to their rightful owners I can set something up for you guys. I do, however, agree that everyone should build their own stuff... at least until they can figure it out well enough to do field repairs on failed weapons.
