Ok I'm asking for a little help, I've got medals for other events, but the Assassin Award I was thinking of like a really cool dagger, using like Gold or Silver fabric and tape or something. Something Pretty...
Any volunteers?

The only problem with gold or silver fabric is that it tents to rip real easy or it's too scratchy. Making a dagger isn't hard, but a min blue with stabby is a lot more useful. Just my input. At beltine and equinox they give away a small steel dagger and rag last year they gave away a black hooded cloak. It's real nice, I'll bring it up with me.

Actually... silver or gold lame' is slick and stretchy... it makes nice sword covers... (See my New Blue) It's tends to run if the edges are not sown down... but it doesnt rip... and it's not scratchy. I think I know the kind of fabric that Valkrulfr is talking about... but that's not Lame' (pronounced Lamb-"A") I think everyone should use it.

I wasn't even thinking of Lame', that would be great. And I thought it was pronounced La-may. Well that's how my old teacher used to say it. Sigh the good old days, the only guy in highschool in fashion class, with 28 girls that wanted to be models.....

i think you're both pronouncing them the same. Lamb as in lamb...A as in the letter A La as in LAughing. May as in the month, eh?

a dagorhir dagger may not be the best choice. being an assassin is all about deception, sneakyness and such. and whats a bright silver dagger say about you? either: "i hunt werewolves" or "i'm a fancy assassin" either way people prod and ask questions...no good for an assassin. i think something for feasting, like a live steel dagger, or a poison ring would be cool. though admittedly getting a correctly sized poison ring would be difficult.

Valk is right... I put the Em-PHA-sas on the wrong syl-A-ble ;D It should be "Le-may". I had a class like that in colledge... all girls except for me an a 'gay-guy'... oddly enough it was a comercial art class. and the teacher hated both of us. Now that I look back on it I think she was a lesbian. At the time I just didn't think she liked my style, now I wonder if she just didn't like boys.
Beathor: I'm thinking that a poison ring would either be cheap costume jewlery... in which case it would very likely be adjustable... or it would be realy expensive...
How about a challace or flaggon?
Why?... well you have to know your moive trivia... Who said... "The ChalLACE with the PaLACE has the P.ellet with the P.oison... the flagGON with the draGON has the brEW that is trUE."... You win a "know" prize if you get it correctly. ;D

you can buy sterling poison rings for under 20 bucks. i saw a really cool one that looked like a coffin with a cross on it for like 17.50 plus shipping i think the movie is The Court Jester, though i dont know exactly who said it

Beats me, but who has time to watch movies anymore? How about a tunic with a giant bullseye or something? Or something truely unique, a scroll recording all their kills and a seal or something on it. Maybe a wanted poster, with the person's name and a list of kills and proclaiming them the most wanted man in the lands, a nice bounty. Something that could be framed and hung in the office.

i like the wanted poster idea, only thing that bugs me is, since we dont know who wins till the end, how do we get their picture on it?

Get their snail mail addy and snap a pic of them and do it up. Mail it to them as soon as it's done... gives them something to look forward to.

I like the wanted poster idea. I Keyna and Nitchmar would be willing to get it mostly ready we have the equipment we could have it done by sunday at the lastest assuming the tourny ends around feast time saturday night.

how about a bag of gold chocolate coins, and a certificate. I like the wanted poster idea, we could email some people that we know are coming and have them be the marks, get their pics before the event. Then say like between the hours of 5pm and 1am that Sat evening, is the window of assasination. Marks can only be killed once. Give them a ribbon to give away to their killer to confirm assasination. Maybe just a few marks. Want it to be challenging.
