howdy ho, neighboreeno-s
I was just wondering, what do Mitterlmarchers do to weigh down their weapons so that blues skim the 12 oz line and reds the 24 oz line, I thought currency like pennies or nickels would work cause each piece is 2.5 grams and 5 grams respectively, but Rune said using currency is a bad idea.....
So,..............how do I walk the line? (Johnny Cash joke, but seriously, what can you do to meet the weight requirement accurately, but more inportantly, safely?)

unless your using fiberglass/graphite core, reaching 12 ounces should be no issue if your weapon is of a decent length. (you can go over 12 ounces you know) I dont use money to weight my weapons, only as caps.
Personally for balance and weight i gorrilla glue and slide a zinc bolt in the bottom. You can test various sizes and thickness's to find the weight and balance you like. and most bolts will act as a cap for the weapon's pommel.

I use aluminum square stock on my handles personally. It squares them off and adds weight.

I know alot of you dont like the coins, but alot of others do use coins on the handle.
I have a small hand and my wrists dont take alot of weight so coins work good for me.
For someone like Zaron or Rune who have alot of force and can handle the weight coins wouldnt not be a good choice.

Keyna's totally right. Semi has used coins effectively (and creatively) to counterweight his gear.
