Honor brings me peace, reflection calms my spirit. Most happiness is false and fleeting, derived from excesses, indulgences, and lack of discipline. Love is the only true happiness that one should allow in his life.

2) What makes you angry?
Dishonor, lying, gluttony. Refusing to help another in need.

3) What equipment do you have ready when on a long voyage?
At the ready are my two swords and the clothes on my back. I will live off the land or ask a kind soul for help, returning the favor to any in need.

4) What gear do you bring to a large battle?
Again, only my swords and clothing. Any more is excess weight on the body as well as spirit. Posessions aren't everlasting. There are worse ways to die than at the hand of a worthy and honorable adversary.

5) Do you wear any jewelry?
The only ornamentations I allow are the colorful trailings of my swords and perhaps a colored waist sash. Any insignia I bear belongs to my unit or guild and is more for their purposes than mine.

Nothing will harm a man with a soul at peace with the world.

Not before giving him the chance to walk away, or attempting to take my own leave.

Depends on the crowd. Usually quiet, enjoying my drinks while holding conversation with a few. Should a friend come through the door, quite a party could well erupt.

Not as much as I used to, though I may still remember an old bard's tale or two if a lute is handy. I much prefer an ink well and quill these days.

I left the church but not my faith. God and the church stopped agreeing in my view, and I chose God.

I am a student of the world, handy at many trades but always learning more. I'm a bit of a nomad but never too busy to help with any task.

18) Did you have a happy childhood?
I remember only glimmers and flashes of my childhood. I believe it was mostly happy because of the innocence of it all. Painful as it was to lose that innocence, I made my decision and have made peace with that.

19) What will you be like in 5 years?
Probably much the same as I am now, perhaps settled down a bit from life on the road. My romantic heart longs for a wife and a home but five years is perhaps to soon for that. No need to rush into a life I'm not committed to.

20) What will you be like in 50 years?
Hopefully settled down considerably and enjoying a quiet life. If not that, probably dead and forgotten. Sometimes I wonder which is preferable.

21) What is your favorite food and drink?
I'm not at all a picky eater. A simple bowl of rice will suffice, perhaps with some sea creature for meat. Fruits are wonderful when available. Chocolates and liquors could well be the end of me.

1) What makes you happy?

"That, my friend, can result in quite an extensive list. Its best if I just limit to a few, then. *Ahem* To start with, the basic necessities of life - good food, better drink, warm clothes, and a nice cozy bed all fit that mold nicely. Secondly, a nice damsel at my side is always a pleasure, especially if its the girl I've found. Friends in general are a wonderful thing, allies on and off the field. All these things are wonderful, but the thing most celebrated of all is my Lord God. Even when I had nothing, I could still cling to him."

2) What makes you angry?

"Bullies and cowards can flare my temper, nicely. I suppose when my God, my friends or myself has been shown disrespect is one of the worst offenses you can make toward me"

3) What equipment do you have ready when on a long voyage?

"Well, I suppose it depends, my friend. Am I traveling alone, or with company? On foot or mount? I'll answer them all. Should I be traveling with a caravan, I'll trust the food to be with them. I'll take a sack for myself, blankets, a change of clothes, a medicine chest, and a few utensils, whatever their purpose may be no matter how I travel. My armor would likely be on my person or in the caravan. My weapons likewise. On foot, I'd travel light and sparingly, on horseback (and alone) I'd bring a small pan, a spoon, flint, and a bag of herbs and other plants and medicines. Now, if I were riding something bigger, say, a dragon- oh, I'm sorry, I'm boring you. Next question, I guess."

"Thats an easy one. My armor, my shield, a sword (or two *wink), my javie, and possibly my arrows. Maybe a dagger, too."

"Certianly do! First off a rather interesting ring, but more interesting than that are three pendants, proof of kills I made while ridding a villiage of various monsters. One for the death of a band of mountanites, one for the death of a vampire (a tough kill indeed!) and one for the death of some undead warriors. Ah, good times, good times. You'll never not have fun with Eryndor, I can tell you that."

"*Laugh* Haha, do you really think I'd tell you if I was?"

"Odd thing is...I didnt really have many growing up. In fact, being a pirate can actually get you some enemies. But, thats the past. Currently, Furey, Makoto, Militis, Bishop, Zaron, Nichtmar, and Alric rank highly on my lists."

"I try not to act differently than I would normally, no matter who or whats going on. I'm not much of a drinker, to be honest. Usually, I'll sit at the bar, mouth shut, and ears and eyes open"

Before I came here, Marcus Lavinius. I knew him since grammar school in Tarentum. I don't know if he's still alive any more.

I try not to make enemies, but sometimes, people make themselves my enemy. I will fight anyone who draws their sword on me.

I never was really. My dad was captured in Parthia when I was pretty young, and since I left for service, I haven't been back south.

I find the darkest corner and sit in it. If there's someone else there, I'll either start a conversation or go to another bar. Occasionally, after a battle, I'll celebrate and get a bit wrecked, but only then.

Sober for one thing. I like to listen to stories and occasionally I throw in my own.

My family always respected the gods, but I'm a skeptic. I don't "worship" anything per se, but I am a servant of truth and honor.

I smith pretty well. It's difficult to sell weapons, because it's like selling my children.

For the most part. We were some of the better-off plebs, and actually rose to equestrian status when my dad was promoted in Asia.
