My Oath
Feb 16, 2006 21:31:16 GMT -5
Post by Valkrulfr on Feb 16, 2006 21:31:16 GMT -5
I have tried to live a good life, among good friends. I have provided for them when they were unable, stood beside them when they needed. I have said what needs to be said, no matter the cost to myself. Many of you are more than friends, you are family.
I have long heard the tales of Kinsmen and their noble deeds and have been honored to be called "friend" by several sword brothers. Any who follow the old ways should look up to them. And here is my oath.
In this day and upon this hour, let it be known. Though I have not the title of Kinsmen or Sword brother, I will do my best to live by the example they set for the rest of us. Let it be known that any Kinsmen or Sword brother shall call upon me, and my sword shall be theirs. They are forever welcome in my camp, to share upon my bounty and spirits, the warmth of my fire, as family.

New last name?? It's always been my last name. At least that's what I though..... Why? Did I give out another last name at some time? Have I not said I was Loki's son?

I've just never seen you sign your name like that before and you have always said either Loki's child or in Loki's trust or some such thing like that!! You have a way of playing with words!!

I never sign my last name unless it's important to me. Giving ones full name gives one power over you and it is a sign of respect. Such is my giving my last name in this oath.
