Late in the afternoon the merchant train from Gatereach arrives in the courtyard. The usual assortment of merchants and travelers from Dunland and beyond along with merchants coming home to Mittelmarch start to either unload their wares or head to their homes. The armed and mounted guards of the travelers start to head to a nearby inn, at least all but one of them. He heads to a nearby public notice board and tacks to it a parchment.
When asked he tells folks that Anvil, Commander of the Defenders of Dunland has posted the reward and anyone who succeeds at the task should see him. With that he leaves to join his fellows in the inn.
