Bracers for Carneth. Going for something basic. After I got them cut out, I realized they were a little thinner than I anticipated  No worries though, glued and riveted another layer underneath the upper portion, giving it a more badass look than plain ol' leather. Burnished the uppers as well as edges so that it feels/looks like one piece of leather. Straps are left long for adjustment upon reciept.  {Edit} Look black in picture, are actually dark brown. |

Dye is called Dark Brown or used Chocolate brown? Was told by Jim at Tandy to use Chocolate in place of Black when asked why our black kept rubbing off. Looks good man! |

hhmm...okay. We'd been using shoe polish to seal and doing double hits of the dye. Thanks for the tip.

Just finished up another project. This armor is for one of our locals All that's left to do is touch up the finish a little. This is my first project where everything, including the straps, were completely custom made to customer specifications.   |
