....lets see here... oh wait i got it... 1. The name 2. The attitude of the people on the field, bel has a more intense feel to the fighting 3. Some very minor rule diferences that 9 times out of 10 will not come up thats pretty much it....oh wait some bel fighters hate dag and some dag fighters hate bel, never have figured that one out

Grappling.
dag: nobody wearing armour can grapple, unless grappled first.
Belegarth: If your wearing plate, you cannot grapple unless grappled first, if your wearing chain you can grapple only with plate, if your wearing ring you can grapple chain or plate, if your wearing leather you can grapple the other armor types, but not unarmored. and unarmored can grapple anyone.

There's better tellers of the story, but it had something to do with the creation of Edhellen and making money off of Dag. This led into the split. I don't really care as long as I get to hit somebody with foam.

Same here, Dag, Bel, who cares, let's fight. In either case, as an armorer I'm going to continue to make money off Dag

All the Bel events are out of state right?
I'd like to try and get to one this year. But I'm not sure if there are any close.

the belegarth attitude kills that game for me. I dont have fun when i'm getting angry on the field because i need to rail some guy 12 times before he decides he'll call death and stop swinging because he's an overcompetitive douche. no offence to any bel guys in particular. but you have a lot of people like that in your game who's names i have never bothered to remember.

I've fought with people in both Bel and Dag, and I find about as many douches in either group. Individuals can be great friends and amazing fighters, or complete chodes. The differences are petty between the two games and I'd love to see e'rybody get along someday. Don't hate based on game name, we all like to beat each other with foam swords and a LOT of us crossplay.

Pretty much. D bags in every game, some totally awesome fighters who can teach you a lot in them as well. I love me some belegarth events. Less water breaks.

Sounds like fun, Nichos! I have no problem with any foam fighting group. I enjoy beating or getting beat down in any of the foam worlds. They all have cocky douche bags who don't take shots. They all have some sort of fault... sleepy water breaks, lulls between battles, overly repeated battles, too passive of heralding.... Lot of it depends on the realm who's running the event. It's just the Nature, everyone's gonna bitch at some point.
Just try to make the best of it.

The last time I was at a Wolfpack practice event I almost became an elf sandwich, and almost got a concussion..so.. In fact,I think someone lterally forbade me from taking the field after those first close calls
