I wear a solid black tee under my shirt. And as long as your beanie isn't flagrantly mundane (flame prints, neon colors, My Little Pony), you should be good.

when it gets chilly, i normally wear a neutral thermal (brown, gray, sage green) underneath my garb. Like Kotaro said, anything not blatantly mundane should be fine. As for beanies, knitted ones are not only fine, but are in fact period.

You could always wear leggings i suppose. That'd be period. Or wear long johns. MM tends to suspend practices by the time it gets cold enough for that though

It depends on how comfortable you are in the tunic. If it's weather like now, i normally just wear a shorter T-tunic underneath my nicer one. You can also just wear an A-shirt (beater shirt) or a thermal shirt, just depending on how warm you want to be. For the undercarriage, I normally suggest black karate pants if you have some, pajama pants can work in a pinch if you don't but they will NOT hold up to heavy fighting. Sweat pants used to be okay for a first event but now appear to be discouraged. Just don't show up in jeans or khakis and you'll be fine.

My legs typically don't get too cold so i may just wear shorts underneath so i don't feel too weird my tunic is a few inches below my knees and will hide the shorts very well... plus i won't wear any obviously bright colors or anything... will this work? sorry for all the questions i just want to represent mittelmarch as well as possible!

Hell, if you're going through the trouble of making a Bocksten tunic, then snag yourself a set of winningas. I need a new pair, but they're pretty amazing.

Short work. Scrub pants work well as well. Pants are so much easier to make then the bockstein tunic, you should have no problem putting some together.

i have enough layers that i usually just need a tshirt underneath in the winter. my leg wraps and tunic keep me pretty much dry and temperature controlled.
