I'm not going to be there but I know that there are a lot of people that should be there that would be more than happy to give you a hand with whatever it was you needed help with. And if all else fails look for a member of the Brotherhood of the Crimson Fang and I assure you that they will help (you hear that brothers!!!). Good luck friend.

To be honest it depends on how thick and how large the shield is. That, and I'm really not very good with all foam shields so I can't be too sure as to whether or not you should put more foam on. Sorry I can't be of any real help on here.

depends on the type of boogie board and the foam... if its made out of styrofoam...due to the fact that styrofoam distentegrates with glue, the only use for a styrofoam boogie board is a back shield. if its the other type, you need to hacksaw and make flat sides instead of the sloped ones that are on there. then you need to add one layer of foam to the front, then one to the sides. also are you gonna make it a punch shield or strap shield. i have experience with these shields so if you can give me a better description i can help you out better with it

no problem man, i didnt know if you knew what it was but i thought id throw it up there anyways. a back shield is used by some spearmen, florentine ( dual weapons) and some archers to protect their backs since they dont have the defensive capabilities of say a shield man. they do this by running a single strap normally (you can use 2 so its just like a back pack) across the chest diagonally like a sash and then it just sits there and protects them. to do this for your shield all you would have to do is figure out where you want the strap to run so that it would fit you, then cut two slits in your shield to run whatever material you are using for a strap through. cloth or a leather strap works well for this. all you would need to do then is to cover it and then youre good to go. rune has an old shield of mine that is just like that, ask him and he should be able to help you out or nichtmar and z i also know how to make them. that is a back shield used by militis when he goes florentine lemme know if that helps and if i need to break it down more cuz i know sometimes im not too clear when i type
