i was just wondering about the history of the black gate that serves as entryway to the Lands between the Lands, is it a one way gate? because if it is, in my RP story, I have been summoned by my father back to Japan for unknown reasons (cue spooky music), but hopefully, the gate is a two-way gate? and what lies on the other side? in summation, how do I return to Japan RP-wise, but with out breaking LBTL history?

:I preface this with the statement that I haven't been back in Indy for quite a while, and my recollections could be incorrect:
The Black Gate is the name for a conglomeration of the mists that always connects to the world that Pentwyvern is in. It is, in fact, two way.
Returning anywhere is pretty much just a matter of The LandTM knowing that for whatever ineffable reason, someone has to go somewhere.
In essence, it wouldn't be a case of the message from your father actually reaching you in the Lands, but of the the Land's spirit being aware that your father is looking for you back on your home plane, sending you there, and bringing you back when the Land needs you again.
